		<description>I know this is an old post but I&#039;ve recently being trying to install Cantera on Snow Leopard.&lt;br&gt;The biggest problem is that you may need to upgrade the python library as well as properly install numarray.&lt;br&gt;Here&#039;s the trick - you can&#039;t do it as an administrator - you need to do it as su or &#039;root&#039;.  An administrator doesn&#039;t have the ability to modify the python files but root does.&lt;br&gt;Install the files as root and you should be good to go...</description>

		<description>I posted this way back in 2005 (the date is incorrect, I migrated from Drupal to Wordpress in 2007) and only actually used Cantera for a month or so. So I can&#039;t provide any useful advice going forward unfortunately and your mileage may vary if you aren&#039;t running MacOSX 10.4 like I was. But it shows how important it is to share the details of your solution to replace out of date instructions like this page.</description>

Shouldn&#039;t the python path statement include some Cantera files.  The edited path you listed does not seem to.  Am I missing something?</description>
